He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Droz and Irene Droz (Taylor); his wife Fern Elizabeth Matre; his children, Marilyn Kolda and Eric Droz; his brothers, Gordon Droz (Elaine) and Lowell Droz (Donna); his brother-in-law Don Matre (Delores); and his nephews, Frank Droz, Tim Diede and Ted Diede.
He is survived by: his children, Cathi Droz of Golden Valley, MN, Marcia Droz of Mesa, AZ, Janelle Droz of Boynton Beach, FL and Kent Droz of Bellevue, WA; his daughter-in-law Shelley Droz of Edmonds, WA; his grandchildren, Shelley Knippling, Jennifer Doschadis (Craig), Chris Kolda, Derick Droz, Adrianna Yi (David), Kirsten Alm (Jeremy), Jamison Krier and Brittany Taylor; and his sisters, Darlene Hammer (Jesse) and Carolyn Diede (Marvin). He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Droz was well known for his community service, his lifetime donation of eleven gallons of blood, and was involved in many local projects.
