She is survived by: her husband Arthur Welk; her children, Clayton Welk of Miller, SD, Bryon Welk (Margaret) of North Platte, NE, Fay Manning (Brad) of Miller, SD and Charlene Tilden (Todd) of Canton, SD; her grandchildren, Jay Welk (Tandra), Jennifer Thyen (Nathan), Elizabeth Steptoe (Trent), Mandy Tierney (Paul), Christen Coyle (Seth), Kristopher Manning (Misty), Matthew Powell, Justin Powell and Bailey Tilden (Sam Gehl); her brother Greg Lewellen (Karen) of Burnsville, MN; and her sister-in-law Alona Lewellen of Miller, SD. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (610 E 4th Ave, Miller, SD 57362). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
