She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Melvin and Fay Melvin; her husband LeRoy Delmar Nye; her children, Alan, Leann and Lori Ann; and her siblings, Elizabeth, Della, Elsie and Bud.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas (Karen) of Aurora and Donnie (Debbie) of St. Lawrence; and her sister Lou of Missouri. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
