She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter John and Katherine Marie Cordell (Jellesma); her husband Wendell; her grandson David Lee Gnat; and her siblings, LaVern Cordell (Phyllis), Lorraine DeVille (Ray), Dennis Cordell (Edna), James Cordell, Karen Goodell, Venard Cordell (Mena), Mary Ann Cordell and Jesse James Cordell.
She is survived by: her children, Edward (Ellen), Jody Adams (Damon) of Madison, SD, Gerry Isackson of Huron, SD, Jeffrey Gnat (Tammy) of Miller, SD and Joel Gnat (Heather) of Ham Lake, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Goodell, Shirley Cordell, Dorothy Pratt (Adrain) and Anita Gnat. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in JoAnn's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
