He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Joy and Fern Joy (Blue). He is survived by: his sons, Allen Joy (Dawn) and David Joy; his grandchildren, Jalynn Schmitz (Chad) and Jacob Joy; his great grandchildren, Charles Schmitz and James Schmitz; his siblings, Vernon Joy, Don Joy (Joan), Ardis Koppelman (Glen) and Doris Lofton; and his siblings-in-law, JoDean Joy and Jack Lofton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
