He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Palmer; his wife Lois Palmer; his grandsons, Jackson Palmer and Brian Russell; and his great grandchildren, Ulysses Jankowski and Ephraim Jankowski.
He is survived by: his mother Marie Palmer (Hansen); his children, Jerry Palmer (Larilee Busby), Kerry Palmer (Jalene), Wes Palmer (Sheri), Mark Palmer (Sheli) and Penny Meadows (Peter); and his sister Ruth McDonald (Hollie). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren; the unwavering love a husband should have for his wife.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Richland Church (36781 142nd St, Mina, SD 57451). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
