She is survived by : her husband Donn Kuhfeld of Mina, SD; her son Bruno Kuhfeld (Elisha) of Aberdeen; her siblings, Robert Nikolas of Aberdeen, Philip "Flip" Nikolas (Evelyn) of Aberdeen, Thomas Nikolas (Jane) of Maplewood, MN, Tim Nikolas (Eileen) of Aberdeen, David Nikolas (Cindy) of Aberdeen, Pauline Winjum (Jerry) of Denver, CO and Mary Ann Nikolas of Aberdeen; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Nikolas of Aberdeen and Joan Nikolas of Rapid City, SD; and her grandchildren, Zander and Espynn Kuhfeld.

Dr. Julie Nikolas wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sad My Aunt Madonna, your Mom, sister, and wife, passed away. I loved her with all my heart! I will never forget all she always did for our family! One of MY favorite memories includes when she saw us at a local establishment, The Lumber Company, and Parted a very busy crowd my shouting, “Step aside! These are MY nieces!” She shared time and fun with us for the rest of the evening, and for years to come. I love you Madonna!”
