He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Schwab and Arlene Schwab (Ihde); his brother Steven; his son Steven; his in-laws, Martin and Wanda Lowitz; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Ulrich, Tim Lowitz and Allen Munger.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Angie Vetter (Chad) and Sheldon Schwab (Hillary Plucker); his grandchildren, Carstyn Vetter (Kaydence Stenson), Jace Schwab (Kyra Marcuson), Anna Schwab, Adyson Vetter, Ally Schwab, Creightyn Vetter, Sawyer Craig, Huxley Craig and Dawson Plucker; his sister Sharla Ulrich; his sister-in-law Teresa Flannery (Tim); his nephew Brenen Ulrich (April); and his nieces, Carissa Naasz (Matt) and Jackie Houghtaling (Steve).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schriver's Fellowship Hall. A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1620 Milwaukee Ave NE, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A burial was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
