He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arens and Bessie Arens of Storla, SD.; his son John Robert; his wives, Arlene Stevens and Barb Johnson; and his sister Beverly.
He is survived by: his daughters, Suzy TerMeer (Eric) of Whitewood, SD and Linda Arens of Platte, SD; his grandchildren, John, Melody, Hunter, Elijah and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Bella and Eva; and his brother Lowell (Sherry) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Later in life Dale developed Alzheimer's, but traveling was never forgotten.
