He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Albert and Dorothy Houchin (Stoughton); his in-laws, Tony and Dorothy Wolf; his nephews, Dick Eugene and Brent Michael Houchin; his sister Shirley Weeldryer (Bob); his sister-in-law Ginger Wolf; and his niece Wendy Sporrer.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Marie Wolf; his daughter Tammy Schechinger (Bruce); his grandchildren, Gessie Schechinger (Nicole), Tara Wagstaff (Jed) and Victoria Arnold (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Emelia, Juliet Schechinger and Bernadette Wagstaff; his brothers, Dean Houchin (Rita) and David Houchin (Sue); his nieces and nephews, Jason, Chris Houchin (Samantha), Jamie Houchin and Kerry-Sue Brown (Ken); and his brothers-in-law, Carl Wolf (Jonnie), Bud Wolf, Richard Wolf, Keith Wolf, Larry Wolf and Jay Wolf. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dale believed that flowers were for the living, so in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to First Circuit CASA Mitchell.
