It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene Paulson of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Plamp and Viola Plamp Wieczorek (Bertram). She is survived by: her husband Jim Paulson; her children, Deborah Munneke (Harley), Craig Paulson (Kimberly) and Linda Jones (John); her sister Marilyn Plamp Hohn; her stepfather Leonard Wieczorek; her brother Delmer Plamp; her siblings-in-law, Diann Plamp and Terry Hohn; her granddaughter Jonalin Jones; and her niece Kimberly Plamp Schoenfelder. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (411 N Duff St, Mitchell, SD 57301). A prayer was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
