He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Hanson and Minnie Hanson (Carlson); his former wife Beverly Hanson (Paulsen); his wife Karen Hanson (Tilberg); and his siblings, Lorene Lowe, Hazel Simpson, Alyce Knutson, Ken and Wayne Hanson.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Hagen, Mark Hanson (Gail) and Lynne Hanson Kloes (Don); his grandchildren, Tara Hagen, Tanya Hagen-Lee (Josh), Trent Hagen (Amy), Spencer Hanson (DiDi), Dr. Trevor Hanson and Michaela Kloes; and his great grandchildren, Addisyn, Audrey, Tarissa, Rhett, Cambree, Hayes and Amelia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Home Lutheran Church or the American Legion.
