She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Bass and Betty Jean Bass (Elrod); her daughter Stacey; her son-in-law Jesse Frank; and her sister Deanna Hayward (Bass).
She is survived by: her husband Jack Underberg; her children, Russ Underberg (Eva), Amy Martini (Bryan) of Sheridan, WY and Sara Hofmann (Steve) of Spearfish, SD; her grandchildren, Tyler Allen (Kenzi), Riley Frank, Zachary Martini, Turner Martini, Olivia De Jesus (Jorge), Jordan Tidyman (Dylon), Emma Humphrey and Warren Underberg; her great grandchildren, Penelope, Adalynn, Juniper, Chase and Georgia; her brother Phil Bass (Debra) of Oklahoma City, OK; and her sister-in-law Nona Colwill of Santa Ana, CA.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service Bittner Funeral Chapel (805 W Havens Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301). A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
