He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis F. Montgomery and Elva Montgomery (Bates); his stepmother Helen Montgomery (Sherwood); his son David Alan Montgomery; his sister Beverly Cupp (Jim); and his half-sister Pat Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Montgomery; his son Ricky Montgomery (Sue); his brother Jim Montgomery (Gloria); and his half-sister Sonna Crary (Dave). He is also survived by four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; cousins; and nieces and nephews.
