He was predeceased by: his father John Hanks; his brother Lyle; and his sister-in-law Roberta. He is survived by: his mother Eileen Sterrett Hanks of Mitchell; and his siblings, Mick (Kathy) of Mitchell, Wayne of White Lake, Eric (Carol) of Mitchell and Deb Knight of Rice, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
