Irene LaDue Obituary
In loving memory of Irene LaDue of Mitchell, South Dakota, who departed this world on April 11, 2025 at the age of 97. Irene leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beke Wolthoff and Edna Wolthoff (Frasch); her husband L. Wayne LaDue; and her siblings, Virgil, George, Robert Wolthoff, LaVonne Randall and Viola Person.
She is survived by: her children, Jolene Rose (Ron) of Alexandria, SD, Dennis LaDue (Laura) of Lincoln, NE, Peggy LaDue (Dale Zimmerman) of Richmond, MN and Lee LaDue (Mike Sharp) of Clearwater, MN; and her sister Gladys Bassett of Mitchell, SD. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service Bittner Funeral Chapel (805 W Havens Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (620 E 3rd Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301).
