James Dorman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Dorman of Mitchell, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanette of Servicemen's Memorial Cemetery; his parents, Arthur Dorman and Marguerite Dorman (Burke); and his siblings, Bill Heisner, Dick Heisner, Larry Dorman and Dusty Painter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth Ann Dorman and Michelle Jacobson (Bart); his granddaughter Holly Amanda Kirkland; his great grandchild Nevaeh Hunter; his sister Sheila Diderkson (Dee); and his siblings-in-law, Collene Heisner and Dick Painter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
