He is survived by: his mother Velma Schauer; his sisters, Karla (Randy), Kari (John), Kayleen (Rick) and Kandice (Rodney); his nieces and nephews, Johnny, Noah, Aaron, Andrew, Autumn and Sarah; and his aunts and uncles, Sam, Russell, Rita, Shirley, Sharon, Linda Koba, Linda Schauer and Arlene.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Velma, and she will distribute the gifts charitably to children and adults with disabilities.
