He is survived by: his children, Diane Dockendorf Niewenhuis (Randy) of Corsica, SD, Delton Dockendorf (Brenda) of Tyndall, SD and Gina Schrank (Donald) of Rozet, WY; and his siblings, Carol Backes of Platte, SD and Gerald Ries of Hudson, WI. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
