He is survived by: his children, Jason Wittenhagen of Mitchell, Larry Wittenhagen (Ruth) of Mitchell, Travis Wittenhagen (Jen) of Mitchell, Randy Wittenhagen of Woodenville, WA, Sharon Youngbluth (Rick) of Mitchell, Bonita Wittenhagen of Parkston and Jeff Matthews (Jeanne) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
