With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVerna Neugebauer of Mitchell, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Renatus Doering and Johanna Doering (Henke); her husband Vernon Neugebauer; her sons, Terry Neugebauer and Kevin Neugebauer; her granddaughter Ashley Moe; her brothers, Norman, Marvin, Roland and Richard Doering; and her siblings-in-law, Wilfred, Raymond, Lewis, Everett, Luvern, Jeanetta, Anita Neugebauer and Darlene Doering.

She is survived by: her children, Bryan Neugebauer (Carmen) of Dimock, SD, LeAnn Moe (Dave) of Alexandria, SD and Tracy Neugebauer (Charlene) of Parkston, SD.; her grandchildren, Dustin Neugebauer (Tiffany), McKayla Buechler (Anthony), Chet Moe, Harley Neugebauer and Austin Neugebauer; her great grandchildren, Dyson, Kinsley Neugebauer, Davy, River and Wilder Buechler; her daughters-in-law, Linda Neugebauer and Christine Neugebauer; and her sisters-in-law, Nelda Neugebauer, Elaine Neugebauer and Imogene Doering. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
