He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kothe and Tillie Kothe (Aswegen); and his wife Kathryn. He is survived by: his brother Jim; his daughters, Diane Bechen (Merl) and Donna DeLoy (Ted); his great grandchildren, Alyssa McLellan (Brandon), Caleb, Carsyn and Cohen; and his extended family, Jerry Kothe, Lorna Feldhaus (Bernard), Barb Myren (Denny), Mary Ann Olson, Ralph and Sharon Kommes.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Agatha Catholic Church (202 W Washington Ave, Howard, SD 57349). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
