He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his children, Rod Hartman (Meshelle Jasso) of Alexandria, Lynelle Knoll (Rick) of Avon, SD, Vickie Mitchell (Richard) of Blunt, SD, Cindy Ishmael (Kevin) of Yankton and Glenda Hartman of Okoboji, IA; his sister Velma Cortright (Gary) of Worthington, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Covin of Ethan, Dave Hewitt of Brookings and Lewis Wingert of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
