LouOra Houk Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2025, at the age of 96, LouOra Houk of Mitchell, South Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of LouOra Houk to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Nelson and Veva Nelson (Johnson); her former husband Robert Busk; her husband William Houk; her brother Myrle Nelson; her stepdaughter Kathy Houk Hoffman; and her son Burce Houk.
She is survived by: her family, Douglas, Barbara and Byron; her children, Bruce, Doug Busk (Linda) of Troy, MI, Barbara Galarneau (Andrew) of Waxhaw, NC, Byron Busk (Thelma) of Dell Rapids, SD and Becky Fogarty of Avon, SD; her grandchildren, Michael Busk, Jennifer Speicher, Victoria, Kaitlin, Sophie Galarneau, Felix Busk, Kala Aragon, Chris, Steve Zaugg and Leah Poole; her children-in-law, Debbie Houk and Roger Hoffman; and her sisters-in-law, Jan Nelson and Renella Busk. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
