She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Assmus and Elisabeth Assmus (Wulf); her husband LaVerne Schuldt; her siblings, Fred Assmus and Betty Parks; and her half-brothers, Herman and Bill Assmus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joleen Buchholz (Jerry) of Mitchell, SD and Dale Ann Marshall (Paul) of Ellijay, GA; her grandchildren, Jay Buchholz (Sheri) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeannie Dehne (Derek) of Sioux Falls, SD, Anne LaNova (Peter) of Long Beach, CA and Jeff Marshall of Marietta, GA; her great grandchildren, Zoe, Keely, Asher, Andre and Ivan Buchholz; and her grandchildren, Liam, Aoife, Keegan Dehne and Eleanor LaNova. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
