With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Martin of Mitchell, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Jelinek and Mabel Jelinek (Ratley); her husband Robert; her son Ryan; and her sister-in-law LaVonne.
She is survived by: her brothers, David Jelinek of Colome, SD, Richard Jelinek of Parkston, SD and James Jelinek of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
