He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lubbers of Mitchell; and his children, Duane Lubbers (Lois) of Chanhassen, Minn., Lori Heier (Gary) of Aberdeen, S. D., Diane Konrad (Dan) of Winchester, Tenn, Dawn Gerlach (Rod) of Spring Grove, IL and Melissa Schutte (John) of Canton, S. D.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Reformed Church, Mitchell, SD, Korean War Veteran's Association or Midwest Honor Flight.
