It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ray Lapka of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Laverne Lapka and Elta Lapka (Bain). He is survived by : his wife Barb; his children, Lilah Gillis (Mike), Corey Lapka, Mitchell and Heidi Pringle (Brian); and his sister Eileen Merkel of Newport News, VA.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
