He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Meinke and Klara Meinke (Kilber); his wives, Bennetta McAllister and Diana Pitkin; his son Ryan; and his siblings, Otto, Dale and Carol.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Meinke (Roxanne Mick) of Arispe, Iowa and Rusty Meinke (Jennifer Barnes) of Red Oak, Iowa; his grandchildren, Christopher Mick of Creston, Zach Swanson of Harlan, Stephanie Mick (Steven Pickrell) of Creston, Jason VanNordstrand of Minden, Alisha, Rhianna Meinke and Clara Meinke of Red Oak, Iowa; and his sister Ann Johnson of Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
