With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Baysinger of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on February 25, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Baysinger and Astrid Baysinger; his brother Lavern Baysinger; and his sister-in-law Nancy Baysinger. He is survived by : his wife Arlene Torgerson; his daughters, Jodie Jones (David) of Mitchell and Bobbie Jo Uecker of Hayti; his grandchildren, Dayna Jones, Kelly Tschetter (Philip), Haley Skinner (Steven), Haeden Uecker, Renner Uecker and Ruby Uecker; and his sister Janet Eining. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Forestburg Lutheran Church or the Sanborn County 4H Building.
