He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Morgan and Loretta Morgan (Nieses); his wife Barbara Morgan; his siblings, Thomas Morgan and Mary Carol Smith; his parents-in-law, Francis and Margaret Gaetze; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Jessen, Kenneth Gaetze, Stephen Fitzgerald, Ronald Honner, Francis Goldammer, Josephine Gaetze and Sylvia Morgan.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle Mika (Dan) of Mitchell, Monica Rothenberger (Neal) of Grand Island, NE, Michael Morgan of Sioux Falls, Mary Fuchuck (Bill) of Omaha, NE, Marcia Sprinkel (Tracy) of Mitchell, Mark Morgan (Renatka), Margaret Berkey (Adam) of Kearney, NE and Matthew Morgan of Mitchell; his siblings, Elaine Goldammer, Gloria Arbuckle (Ann), Colleen Fitzgerald and Alan Morgan (Chuck); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jessen and Eileen Honner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
