Russell Overbay Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 26, 2025, at the age of 77, Russell Overbay of Mitchell, South Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Russell Overbay to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Overbay and Edna Overbay; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Mary of Mitchell; his daughter Laura Haug of Madison; his grandchildren, Benjamin Haug (Jackie) of Lester Prairie, MN and Kaitlin Pierson of Madison; his great grandchildren, Hensley and Hannah Haug; his siblings, Phyllis Martens of Rapid City, Robert (Judy) of Aberdeen, David (Mary Kay) of Council Bluffs and Glenn (Lisa) of Huron; and his sister-in-law Mirtha Overbay of Winter Haven, Florida. He is also survived by many in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Russell to St. Jude's.
