She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Peta and LaVera Peta (Cunningham); her sister Shirley Tietz; her siblings-in-law, Carol Peta, Ivan Stearns and Earl Tietz; and her sibling's children, Brad Paulus, Ron Tietz and Betty Jo Tietz.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey "Gov" Hanson (Sherri), Kari Hall (Clint) and Jamie Hanson; her siblings, Sheila Paulus (Dennis), Sharon Stearns and Larry Peta; her grandchildren, Ashlee, Dean Hanson, Shaylee Hanson, Haidlee Hanson-Sinkie, Beau, Jeremiah Cleveland, Michael and Max Hall; her close friend Sonne; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
