With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Spencer Gross of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Spencer may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Spencer touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Gross and Rose M. Gross (Janisch). He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Jennifer Cooper (Tommy); his grandchildren, Ethan, Christian and Anna Shelton (Devin); and his brother Mark Gross (Odile). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
