She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Jarding and Anna Jarding (Schroeder); her husband John Fluegel of Salem, SD; her siblings, Evelyn Hjelm, Darlene and Raphael; her sister-in-law Helen Jarding; her grandson Patrick Flattem; her parents-in-law, Dorothy (Bates) and Ed Fluegel; her brothers-in-law, Harold Sandness, Duane Hjelm, Sterling Beath and Dale Fluegel; and her nephews, John, Ted and James Sandness.

She is survived by: her children, Jacque Flattem (Donald) of Davenport, IA, Steve Fluegel (Nancy) of Highland Village, TX and Kathy Dexheimer of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Michael Flattem (Jessie), Evan Fluegel (Tamara), Alex Fluegel, Chelsea Fluegel, Megan Dexheimer and Loressa Flattem (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Alexa, Anthony Flattem, Austin, Cole and Delaney Fluegel; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Beath (Fluegel) of Evansville, WI. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary of Mercy Catholic Church or Cemetery.
