She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Wessel and Fern Wessel (Larson); and her husband Rodney. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Marie Powers (Ryan) and Nathan Reitan (Karen); her grandsons, Wesley Dillon, Anton Powers and Dillon Reitan; and her sister Joann Bybee.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Wesleyan Church (3040 Marlin Dr, Rapid City, SD 57703). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
