She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Marks and Norma Marks (Winters); and her brothers-in-law, Mike Whitehead and Dave Kelly. She is survived by: her husband Denny Bachman; her son Topher Bachman (Lindsey); her grandchildren, Bryar of Mobridge, SD and Baylor of Mobridge, SD; her siblings, Fanny Clark (Bobby) of Gettysburg, SD, Ginger Hegerle of Gettysburg, SD, Bill Marks of Gettysburg, SD, Deb Kelly of Rapid City, SD, Barb Sauer (Joel) of Denver, CO, Carol Whitehead of Walsenburg, CO and Becky Simon (Jim) of Lebanon, SD; her brothers-in-law, Wayne Bachman of Sioux Falls, SD and Gary Bachman of Bowdle, SD; her sister Mary Beth Moore (Darin) of Ponca City, OK; and her aunt Ginger White of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (518 2nd Ave W, Mobridge, SD 57601). A prayer was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In honoring Jane's wishes, memorials will be directed toward donations to the Cruetzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation to support efforts in finding a cure for the disease that took her from us.
