She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wingen and Louise Wingen (Stoffel); her husband Joseph Bartmann; her children, Duane and Jeanne; and her siblings, Lawrence, Lloyd, Evelyn DeBates, Florence Stroud, Lavonne Garry, Dorothy Townsend and Henrietta Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Vince of Mitchell, Mike (Marlys) of Canistota, Pat (Kelly) of Canistota, Mary Ann Ribbing (Carl) of Longmont, CO, Nancy Herman (Robert) of Montrose and Donna Uthe (Keith) of Madison, SD; her daughter-in-law Barb Bartmann of Montrose; her siblings, Ray Wingen (Lenice) of Montrose, Carol Hansen of Canistota and Mae Frier of Sioux Falls; Cliff Hallem (Lory) of Montrose. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (211 Church Ave, Montrose, SD 57048). A prayer was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
