He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Margaret Stickler (Johnson) and Harley Stickler; his siblings, Melvin (Lucille), Bobby, Glen, Kenny, Darrel (Wanda), Isabelle Ellwanger (Bill), Hazel Foley (Bob) and Bonnie Dennis; and his parents-in-law, Helen, Jess McMillan and Cheryl McMillan.

He is survived by: his sibling Okaton; his daughters, Corinna (Justin Boyle), Carrie (David Lolley) and Carla; his wife Kathleen; his daughter Chris Hruby of Huron; his grandchildren, Caylee Sorum (Nate), Jordan Trumbo (Marcus), Nik Boyle (Teresa Hebert), Jake Lolley (Naomi), Carson Hruby (Rosie Cerulla), Zach Boyle and Camryn McKinley (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Deacon, Griffin and Roarke; and his siblings-in-law, Mike McMillan, Casey McMillan (Marlene), Lyle Dennis, Teresa Schweitzer and Sadie Stickler.
