It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Beetem of New Effington, South Dakota, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Beetem and Evelynn Beetem (White); her siblings, Brian Beetem, Lisa Beetem and Julie Nelson; and her grandparents, Paul White Turtle, Josephine LaPointe, John Beetem and Hazel Lundberg.
She is survived by: her children, William "Aaron" Wozna III of Rapid City, SD, Joseph Wayne Wozna of Englewood, CO and Tasha Nacole Wozna of Denver, CO; her brother Bob Beetem of Sisseton, SD; her sibling's children, Red Dawn Renville of Sisseton, SD, Emma Renville of Sisseton, SD, Brian Beetem of Pine Ridge, SD and Keith Gipson-Beetem of Florida; her grandchild Alizzah Chaney of New Effington, SD; and her aunts and uncles, Ruth Hill of Sisseton, SD, Lois Lundberg of Alexandria, MN, Katie Hill of Long Hollow, SD, Tom Beetem (Rita) of Rapid City, SD and Nathan Hill of Peever, SD..
A wake was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the BIG Coulee District Center. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ascension Presbyterian Church.
