It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Miller of New Effington, South Dakota, who passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Miller and Helen Miller (Gardner) of Fairmount, ND; his siblings, Floyd and Bernice; his siblings-in-law, Paulette Ceroll, Dale'Herbie'Schultz, Doug Krause and Greg Dalberg; his nephews, Dustin Krause and Trevor Skarphol; Herbert and Alyce Schultz (Smith).
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Crista) and Elizabeth (Dale); his grandchildren, Dalton (Kimberly), Hayley (Kailyn), Tanner (Alison), Savannah (Todd), Tore, Payton and Xaiden; and his great grandchildren, Emmalyn, Brynlee, Elliot, Louise, Scarlett and Jonah. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
