He is survived by: his siblings, Clarice and Dale; his uncle Art; his aunt Doris Wood; his brother George; his wife Mary Rank of Newell, SD; his children, Douglas of Red Lodge, MT and Susan Zaugg (Tracy) of Cerulean, KY; his grandchildren, Alexander, Zachary Kessel, Thomas and Kimberly Zaugg; his daughter Tara Kadlecek (Scott) of Hay Springs, NE; his grandchildren, Erin (Austin Anderson) and Spencer; his son Darren (Angie) of Newell, SD; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan and Austin.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Newell Ambulance Service.
