He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bud" and Jean Alice Kary (Sinning). He is survived by: his wife Edna Kary of Norris; his children, Paul Kary of Norris, David Kary of Rapid City and Rebekkah Fanning (Landon) of Rapid City; his siblings, Brant Kary of Norris, Rae Staab (Eric) of Kansas and Anita Barrett (John) of Kansas; his nieces, Elizabeth Van Deusen (David), Cordelia Whitlatch (Michael), Emily Simms (Rob) and Rachel Cress (Ben); his nephew Lawrence Barrett (Rachel); his great-niece Jaelynn Simms; and his great-nephews, Declan Simms, Samuel, Jeremiah Van Deusen and Josiah Witlatch. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
