She was predeceased by: her parents, Berdenna Wilimina (Zwart) and William Hamstra; her daughter Kim Malcom; her grandson Michael Tabbert; her great grandchild Eli Koopman; and her sister Juanita Colwell.

She is survived by: her husband Dave Weicht of Oacoma, SD; her children, Penny Tabbert (Brian) of Hudson, SD, Bill Malcom (Leslie) of Altoona, IA and Troy Malcom (Rita) of Dell Rapids, SD; her stepchildren, Becky Weicht of Eldora, IA and Alan Weicht of Eagle Grove, IA; her grandchildren, Sara Gotto, Adam Koopman, Jaime Koopman, April Gotto, Eric Tabbert, Tyler Tabbert, Lacey Jo Malcom, Faith Malcom, Ashton Malcom, Madison Sue Weicht, Brian Roberts and Jessica Hondo; and her brothers, Charles Hamstra of Fresno, CA, Jerry Hamstra of Sioux City, IA and Terry Hamstra of Le Mars, IA.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
