She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Peterson and Angelene Peterson; her granddaughters, Mary Kristine Yackley (Steve) and Rachel Elaine Yackley (Mike); Ben and Vi Yackley.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Yackley of Onida; her sons, Steve (Carla), Todd (Tanya) and Mike (Kellie); her grandchildren, Alexis Warner (Cliff), Ryan Yackley (Xandria), Donnie Yackley, Nicole Yackley, Rachel Hennen (Shane), Sara Renze (Tyler), Blake Yackley (Kayla), Sasha Yackley, Wayne Yackley (Roz), Spencer Yackley (Tina), Brielle Bohle (Travor), Alex Thorson and Jaxon Yackley (Briseida); her brother Rod Peterson (Wendy); and her nieces and nephews, Chisum (Cindy), Cade and Quin (Kelly). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Elaine's family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Avera Foundation/Avera Heart Hospital or Missouri Shores Domestic Violence Center.
