Rod Grueb Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Rod Grueb of Onida, South Dakota. Rod, born on March 16, 1953, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Grueb and Matilda Grueb (Moelter); his parents-in-law, Beverly Zebroski and Phil Zebroski; and his sisters-in-law, Debra Grueb and Terah Zebroski.
He is survived by: his wife Tawana Grueb; his son Nathan (Sara); his grandchildren, Reagan, Radley and Royce; his daughter Karla Kendrick (Chris); his grandchildren, Cruz, Creed and Klancy; and his siblings, Linda Lensgrav (Wayne), Herb Grueb (Marcia), Irma Fees (Kevin) and Larry Grueb (Beth). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (102 S 6th St, Onida, SD 57564). A wake was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
