He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Dean Stier; his brother Bradley Stier; and his grandparents, Anna Stier, Sara and Odin Mithun.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Stier-Aal (Mithun) of Chokio, MN.; his wife Mary Jo; his children, Michael Stier (Courtney) and Katherine Stier (Connor); and his siblings, Mark (Lynn), Matthew (Melanie), Patrick (Alli) and Lisa (Dustin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family.
