He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Karp and Anna Karp (Nachtigall); and his siblings, Donald Karp and Rita Stangle. He is survived by: his wife Jane Torguson; his son Tom Karp (Brenda); his grandchildren, Andrew, Luke and Grace Karp; his daughter Heather Sporrer (Jesse); his granddaughters, Amelia and Clara Sporrer; his son E. J. Karp (Melissa); his grandchildren, Chelsie, Emilie and Bailie Karp; his son Charles Karp; and his siblings, Kenneth Karp (Sharon), Rosalie Stangle, Judy Warren (Jim), Regina McQuistion and Theresa Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; along with many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Good Samaritan Society-New Underwood, South Dakota.
