She was predeceased by : her husband Roland Eugene Gross; her daughter Connie Gross; her granddaughter Emily Gross; her brothers, Tony and Jim Waechter; her sister-in-law Geraldine Waechter; and her parents, Alfred Waechter and Anna Waechter.

She is survived by : her children, Joann Preheim of Marion, Gene Gross (Gayle) of Parker and Mary Hageman (Bob) of Tea; her grandchildren, Bob Preheim (Becky), Ginger Robinson, Dan Preheim (Melissa), Deb Preheim (Rob Huling), Derek Gross, Candace Dockter (Daryn), Carson Gross, Nick Ensz (Kristi), Tony Ensz (Erica Knode), Isabella Hageman and Jenna Hageman; and her sister-in-law Pat Waechter of Montrose. She is also survived by her twenty-three great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Christina Catholic Church (380 W 1st St, Parker, SD 57053). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
