With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lukes of Parker, South Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on February 27, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gene Lukes and Sally Lukes (Olson); and his siblings, Doug Lukes, Larry Lukes, Lyle Lukes and Laura Lukes.

He is survived by : his children, Curt (Jackie) of Parker, Craig (Sheila) of Humboldt and Lynn of Sioux Falls; his wife Grace Hotchkiss; his grandchildren, Laura Streff (Neil Wenande), Renee Travis (Matt), Brent Lukes (Angela), Kyle Lukes (Hannah) and Katie Novak (Derek); his great grandchildren, Jaycee Wenande, Kaylee Novak, Brantley Streff, Myles Wenande, Lyle Travis, Garth Lukes, Chase Lukes, Easton Novak, Riggs Novak and Ellie Lukes; and his siblings, Bud Lukes (Deb) of Harrisburg and Linda Addy of Sioux Falls.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice or the First Baptist Church.
